During the Corona pandemic, the market has been spilled with hand disinfection agents. Many of these aggressively attacked the skin flora. Due to their pungent smell, people reluctantly disinfected their hands as often as it would have been necessary.
Moreover, many users are unsure if there are efficient products against the much-feared Corona virus and which products these are.
Inspired by the idea to combine highly efficient disinfection with natural efficient skin protection and additional skin care, an intercultural team consisting of doctors, chemists, scientists and experts set the objective to develop and manufacture a product based mainly on organic and natural raw materials, at the same time offering excellent disinfection characteristics, especially against the Corona virus.

The SETASAN team developed due to the brilliant idea of three friends with very different backgrounds having however a common and clear goal.
The initiator was a doctor, a native from Sri Lanka. He brought together former fellow students who are today leading scientists of the pharmaceutical industry from all over the world (e. g. Australia, Sri Lanka and Germany) with current friends (experienced business men, creative artists, sales experts etc.).
Today SETASAN care GmbH consists of an intercultural team of doctors, chemists, scientist, creative people and experts from all over the world – the perfect combination of our visions.
Due to our connections to Sri Lanka and the precious raw materials which this region offers, it is a matter of course that we use Sri Lanka‘s force of nature for the unique recipes of our products so that they are as gentle and sustainable as possible.
Therefore, we do not only support the fair and sustainable cultivation of sugar cane for our bioethanol but also the fair and sustainable cultivation of Aloe Vera. Since our environment is important to us, as important as the use of natural products for our health.
It goes without saying that SETASAN also supports special products to help families and children in Sri Lanka.

SETASAN uses bio sourced natural ethanol from sugarcane, ethereal oils and "pure" Aloe Vera, which are carefully selected premium grades available in Sri Lanka instead of extracts or artificial substitutes. Batch-related differences of colour and odour as well as minor deposits at the bottom of the bottle or cloudiness are normal and typical of the product. These are indicators of high quality. It is sufficient to shake the bottle slightly in order to reobtain a homogenous dispersion. Cloudiness and different intensities of colour and odour due to natural ingredients do not influence the efficacy or the expiry date of the products.
